@whackbag - torrents have an infohash that represents the torrent as a whole with all its files (it’s actually a hash of the “info” section of the original torrent file), and is calculated using SHA1 encryption. There is also a “hashtable” that has an SHA1 hash for each piece of the file and the pieces are verified as the finish downloading, and are discarded if they fail to match the hash, indicating something wrong was transmitted to you.

Two questions.
Why would anybody have a problem with wakbag checking out the integrity of posted files?
Why would Donkeystink be downloading book 3 if he did not enjoy 1 and 2?

There’s nothing wrong with the hashes in the table–these are because the torrent was made to be compatible with eDonkey. They don’t affect the download in a torrent client.
However, this includes both an M4b (175 MB) and an MP3 (355 MB).
No one wants both versions, so people get one or the other and then can’t seed it.
So get it while you can; maybe someone will make a torrent for the trilogy and this can be discarded.

Seems like it’s no longer seeded. At least when I checked it. It’s also a weird way of doing a torrent on ABB, or at least it doesn’t conform to normal standards.
I’m not sure why people are throwing insults around so liberally, but let’s reign it in a bit please.

– no one was “insulting” snyone.
There is nothing wrong with the torrent file. Just ABB’s software handles it inelegantly.
However, two copies of the book in one torrent is a bad idea.

My mistake on the lack of seeds. I tried loading up the hash file directly into my torrent program, and that didn’t catch the seed. Downloading the torrent file and loading it up that way worked fine. Apologies on that part.

@Lieve — there is no magnet link shown and the various hashes listed are NOT the infohash you need to make one. (As I said, ABB doesn’t handle eDonkey torrents well, though it is actually fine). I will add a magnet to the description if I can.
