This one is Grate! Some hard scifi and math, some theology, trippy metamorphosis, horror scenes that had my hair move! Strong drama. I’m 40+.
Ending is open, but characters reviled fully. It looks like there is a possible further plot, but it would be another genre. So I’m not expecting a second book.

Seems to be a bit of an issue with the recording skipping sections of multiple chapters. Had to get a hardcopy to read the missing bits. Great book though!
