Any book that advertises “all-male” or “all-female” crew, cast, or anything. To my reading experience. Seems to limit the authors focus and boundaries of where they are willing to go with the book. If it just happens to be all male or female, then the limits don’t appear as much. If you read this author. Let the flow of the book take you where it the best sequence takes you. Not a preconceived notion.
