It subverts the whole idea of P2P and reduces seeding.

@Gweilo: Understood. I only did to those torrents which needed seeding (the comments said so), and to the ones which I accidentally erased. Having said that, I’ll definitely abstain from now on.

I sent a PM about this to you earlier, but you haven’t been in the forum for a while.
If a torrent needs seeding, and you have matching files, reseed it.
Otherwise, make a reseed request in the forum, PM the uploader if he’s still around. If no response or seeds after a couple of weeks report it as dead and you can make a new torrent if you have a different rip of the same book.
File host links are easier than torrents, but they will just disappear at any time. We have seeded torrents here 15 years old.
And with your own torrents, if you have the M4B, just post that, not an MP3 as well.
