Well written, author bases the book on his naval knowledge and a credible apocalyptic situation so we have a ship base and forays on land. I sensed a covert religious attitude i.e. good triumphs over etc. and the cavalry turn up too much and emotionsl reaction of the characters seems to involve their inner workings particularly regarding bile. Well hopefully these all American heroes will choke on their apple pie and their undoubted exceptionalism will be defined for what it is. For a worldwide catastrtophe there is scant mention of how Wales etc. are coping. Nothing here for zombie fanz.
