I agree. I’ve seen the demise of too many of my favourite authors in the last year or two. Tom Sharpe, Iain Banks, Leslie Thomas and James Herbert come to mind. :-(

Woo! I literally just finished the 2nd one today. Damn good timing. Damn good books. I also read that they plan on a second Long Earth trilogy. I’m really glad Pratchett is still up to it.
