So, one of the side effects of doing all the collections I’ve done is all these anthologies I’ve chaptered over the years. I might as well start uploading these here too.
I used to have a list but I think I’ll start over from scratch.
The torrent descriptions were always the worst part of releasing these for me so I’ll just eschew them if they’re too much trouble.

This copy has, in my opinion, one of the best readings of Flowers for Algernon. Mind you, the only other version of the short story I have is in The Science Fiction Hall of Fame, Volume One

I keep coming back to the realisation that the greatest strength of SF is that it captures the Zeitgeist like no other form: we are never more ourselves than when we are dreaming.
That said: Flowers for Algernon captures perfectly the paranoia of the ’50s about how technology can destabilise a society, but is equally - though differently - essential reading today in our Post-Truth, Alternative Science, Teach the Controversy Dark Ages.
Thank you Hellblazer1138 for the chance to revisit a lesson from history we haven’t learned yet.
