Right, first off, thank you for sharing this book.
I have listened to a fair bit of the beginning, and unfortunately it does not live up to its blurb. I expected to find a slightly amusing and interesting tale, but have had to suffer through a narrator who seems to like excessively long pauses between sentences, annoying to any listener. it doesn’t exactly flow smoothly.
The story itself maybe tainted by the poor reading, for I found it monotonous enough I sort of tuned out.
Would I recommend this story, probably not, but I do this knowing I have not listened all the way through, and am probably being unfair to the author because of a poor choice of narrator.
If someone with a bit or artistic flair to their reading did this, it could be a much more interesting and captivating story, but at the moment it is just MEH

Gotta concur with Fontype there. It’s probably my first review here but I couldn’t stand this book. The reader wasn’t great and it suffered.
I got about halfway through and have to throw another criticism in- nothing. Bloody. Happens.
It’s just people’s minor personal problems, some whining about them, and some “exploring-but-not-in-any-interesting-way” the differences between species.
Give it a pass and wait for a book where something happens.
