The special effects in this book are INSANE!! I was listening to the book (got it on Audible) at the last mission… and we had a 5.3 Earthquake hit. It wasn’t that bad… but I also live in San Francisco. It freaked the HELL out of me though… just because we are sitting around knowing another one will strike, at some point…. here am listening to a crazy description of an Earthquake… being reminded of the looming earthquake that will hit someday… as an Earthquake hits..

Never experienced an earth quake. I’m a flatlander. But in this book there is a most immersive experience iv ever imagined.
