The Divergent trilogy is a series of young adult science fiction adventure novels by American novelist Veronica Roth set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian Chicago. The trilogy consists of Divergent (2011), Insurgent (2012) and Allegiant (2013). A related book, Four, presents a series of short stories told from the perspective of one of the trilogy’s characters.
The society of the trilogy defines its citizens by their social and personality-related affiliation with five different factions, which removes the threat of anyone exercising independent will and threatening the population’s safety. Beatrice Prior, who later changes her name to Tris, an Abnegation-born and Dauntless transfer, must figure out her life as a Divergent, while concealing her true nature, and living with the danger of being killed if it is discovered by the Erudite and Dauntless leaders.
This torrent is a collection of the trilogy Divergent audiobooks (all in m4b. format, chapterized) read by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford; including:
1. Divergent, read by Emma Galvin.
2. Insurgent, read by Emma Galvin.
3. Allegiant, read by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford.

For those who do not know how to open chapterized m4b. file to see the chapters, here are some suggestions:
1. On a PC, try downloading VLC player, QuickTime Player, or iTunes. They are all free and easily found on google. If you’re a movie-lover, I recommend VLC Player, and if you’re a music-lover, iTunes is recommended.
- With VLC player, open the m4b. file with the program. Once it starts playing, click the tab ‘Playback’ at the top left, then move the pointer to ‘Chapter’, and you’ll be able to see the chapters.
- With iTunes, first you should drag the m4b. file into the program. Once it’s in the ‘Audiobooks’ menu, double click to play it. You then will see a ‘Chapters’ tab appearing on the menu tab at the top.
- With QuickTime Player, open the m4b. file with the program. You should be able to see the chapters right away on the right.
2. On Apple devices, it should be nearly the same with using iTunes. Once you transfer the m4b. file from your PC to your devices through iTunes, the rest should be simple.
3. On Android devices, try Smart Audiobook Player, Listen Audiobook Player, or Mort Audio Player. I never use these apps, so I’m not certain about this, but I’ve heard highly of them.
*** If you still cannot open the m4b. files, then I suggest looking for another torrent with the regular mp3. files or any format you can use. Converting these files are not recommended, because they will lose the chapters. M4B. format purpose is mainly for the chapterized audiobooks, so without the chapters, it’s easier to find another torrent.
~~~~~~~
Hours had been spent to organize and chapterize these files in m4b format in order for everyone to enjoy the audiobooks in the best way possible. I hope you all enjoy them, and let me know if there’s something wrong with any of the files.
Please Seed and leave some feedback if you like. Thank you!
Fine work, but not a word of what the story is about.
@Gweilo: My apologies. I gave no description about the series because I know it can easily be googled. Here is the link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divergent_trilogy
For a brief introduction, if you really need it:
Divergent trilogy is a series of young adult science fiction adventure novels by Veronica Roth. The trilogy consists of Divergent (2011), Insurgent (2012), and Allegiant (2013). It is a young-adult dystopian novel set in the so-called Divergent Universe, that features a post-apocalyptic version of Chicago.
Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant all take place in the same area, a futuristic and dystopian vision of Chicago. Beatrice Prior, who later changed her name to Tris, an Abnegation born and Dauntless transfer, must figure out her life as a Divergent. If the Dauntless leaders find her out she will be killed. She must learn to conceal her ability and not let it show.
Dave, thanks so much for your efforts.
I appreciate you working to bring these well-known series into coherent collections.
Thank you!
@Dave, thanks, and I admit I have heard of these books.
But if I had to Google every title listed it would be pretty tedious. I’d probably skip authors I hadn’t heard of with no descriptions.
If the description does pique my interest then I usually do look it up elsewhere before committing to the download.
Also titles aren’t unique, people can get the wrong idea.
(See for instance the comments on this: https://audioscifi.com/audio-books/highlander-series-1-big-finish-productions/ )
There is no compulsion, people can post what they want how they want with nothing except a title.
But when you go from the bare listing to the detail of a single torrent you have a whole page to present it.
As you seem to take pride in creating doing a well organised torrent, making the final step of describing what it contains takes a short time and is appreciated.
@Gweilo: Thank you for pointing it out. I admit that I don’t usually include enough info in most of my uploads, because they are mainly for searchers who have already known the series and are looking for them. But I shall try to be more specific in my future uploads. Again, thanks for your constructive comment, Gweilo.
What program is best for m4b? Only think I have to use for it at work is Windows Media Player, and I have to convert to MP3 to play it, and then can’t go back and forth to start where I ended at the end of the previous day -_-
@gamemakerchick: Try downloading iTunes. Just add them into your iTunes library, and they’ll show up in your ‘Books’ tab on the side bar. When you play an audiobook, they’ll remember where you left off the last time. There is also a ‘Chapters’ tab on the menu bar, too, if you want to jump to a specific chapter.
to many complainers on here. You’re getting free stuff! shut up and figure these things out! M4B is great, THANK YOU for that… a simple web search on my part is nothing when you are saving me money on buying these. Thanks again for the great uploads!
You can plat M4B on Windows Media Player. I have before, you just have to remember where you left off because it does not chapterize them for you, but just plays as one lone book.
For future reference, if you change the .m4b at the end of, albeit each of , the filenames to .m4a, they will play everywhere. Without bookmarks, admittedly.
Most decent players play m4b anyway. The Smart Audiobook Player for Android is particularly good.
As in No iTunes needed. :)
Dave, thankyou very much for this - we are homeless and lazy beggars who spend most of every day listening to audiobooks and I had been looking for this on recommendation for quite some time. :)
In terms of the m4a/m4b thing, the only difference lost would be the bookmarking, a great shame after so much work on your part and also important to most of the downloaders; so you should probably leave them as m4b files when you share and leave it to your downloaders to decide what to do with them.
Thanks for the upload buddy. Really appreciate your effort to share.
