@Tigereyze .. Yeah I guess so if one is into naiveté etc..
I myself gave up on it 40% thru book number 2.
I dislike books that take artless simplicity to new and gag inducing heights. The story was just to silly at times.
I know its time to give up on a series when there is no improvement.
When listening consistently causes me to expostulate aloud over and over upon breaching my suspension of disbelief barrier, I know its time to give up on said series and author. I usually give such authors (if not total incompetents)a few years to grow and check back to see if later works show improvement.
