One of my favorite ultimate apocalypse stories. Reynolds on best form, almost at Zima blue level. I love how dear old Clarke missed the point in his Rama series. This is what it should all have been about!
BTW, in case you missed it, there’s an animated series out with some really great stories by this author, Zima blue and beyond the Aquila rift, don’t remember now but maybe more:
