January is complete! I’m making good headway with the Big Batch Redo but I’ve got rid of my old files so I don’t confuse them with the new ones (meaning my file structures are entirely different, for these uploads I’m trying to adhere to the old structure soley from memory so forgive any mistakes in the folders)

anime.chap - It is so sad that you feel that you should get money for stealing audiobooks. If you do this simply to share what YOU have PURCHASED, then this is laudable. But to ask members to pay you is disgusting for two major reasons.
1. You are exploiting the goodwill of the owner of this site to promote your own site.
Tell me - have you permission? - Have you even asked? I take it the answer to both of these is no and you just want to rip people off. Make out that this costs you money.
I buy my books and share them - I pay £30 a month to have a seed box to ensure that members get their downloads quickly.
What I don’t have is a unauthorised begging letter on a website designed to SHARE audiobooks.
2. Providing audiobooks for members to sample and decide whether to purchase is the ONE THING that sort of justifies what this site does. YOU SELLING your services to provide the audiobooks is what the authorities use to demand ALL TORRENT sites are shut down.
So do you want to be a supporter of this site or just someone wanting to exploit the owners of the site and draw attention to illegal activities.
PLEASE NOTE - I expect a cessation of your begging and disrespect for the owners - OR I will have to paste this on ALL of your future posts.
THIS SITE IS TOO IMPORTANT TO LOSE TO THOSE EXPLOITING THE RULES.

PS - the one star is because the Details section of the upload, is listed clearly for you to provide a description of the audiobook - ie., what are the stories, contents about. - Not links and descriptions of your other moneymaking ploys.
In fact the rules are explicit ans state that such action is NOT allowed.
Scamming, Links to other sites are not allowed. This site is paid for by the income it generates from it’s adverts.
If you want to make your own site. Then do so - If you want to ADVERTISE your sites on this one. CONTACT THE OWNERS..
If other advertisers see that there is a way NOT to pay the site - How long before the site is no longer funded.

Yes, the share of the audio books are greatly appreciated. But Delfs point is extremely valid. You should stop promoting your taplink on this website. Sure, it’s fine if you promote it in your own discord server, but your actions on this website have the potential to have this website shut down by authorities and that’s simply not a good prospect. Respect the rules of the website you use. If you don’t stop breaking this website’s rules, I will join Delf in continuously posting comments like this under your shares, in the hopes that you do get banned from this website, because the safety of this website is worth more than your continued existence on this website.

Great continued reliable releases as always - and Delf should perhaps try looking at the costs of those releases before pissing their pants over someone asking to chip in so that we all can have those releases very soon after release instead of waiting around for the backlog - plus, the judgemental atitude is extremely (and hilariously) ironic considering the legal stance of this entire site.

Fantastic release! I agree with the majority here that the tag for your site and Discord are perfectly acceptable, especially as the group funding of these releases enables us to get access so soon after their release.
Delf and others like them really need to take get off their high horses and take a look in the mirror once in a while; this is a site designed to share audiobooks (mostly copywritten ones), and anime.chap does so. This site asks for optional donations to stay up, and so does anime.chap in order to continue their service.
I’ve read the upload requirements and there’s nothing that prohibits anime.chap from including a link to their Discord or their personal site; the only links that are banned outside of viruses are affiliate links, and those are marketing websites.

I saw your comments on my recent uploads - I have spoken to the owners of ABB and it has all been cleared - I never used to do these uploads and then the other guy left, there was demand for it so I said I’d buy more and upload them - Then the prices raised to over £150 a month to get everything BF releases and some people in my channels offered to contribute as I couldn’t buy it all myself, some send me the Audios to upload, others prefer to donate - Either way I am not forcing anyone too, and some people choose to, others don’t - And some donate more because they want the BBC uploads for instance, ask anyone in those comments or in my channels it is not an issue for anyone.

HOWEVER - Asking for money to help diseminate pirated content (Whatever the reason) on a pirate site is gross stupidity at best.
I am certain the owner is NOT aware that this is occuring. NOTHING will lead to this site being shut down more than OPENLY trying to sell pirated content on a website.
COMPLAIN as much as you want - I’ve been using this site for 16yrs and an uploadeder as Delf or Delf338 for a majority of this time. In the last two decades since Kazar in the Mid 1990’s I have watched many sites fall to sucg open stupidity.

It is not we don’t appreciate the uploads - Only the dangers that asking for ANY recompence for uploads is inherently dangerous
Some say its dangerous already - WRONG - only in SOME countries. BUT PROFITING from pirating IS.
The question is not are the downloads wrong -
But is openly asking for money for pirated content a danger to the site.
NOW - you can stick your head in the sand. Or you can accept the truth - I suppose it depends on how selfish you wish to be.
I say a link to visit his site is an acceptable risk.
But asking 3 times for donations to support and further his pirating is an UNNECCESARY risk.
Please tell me if you think the risk is Neccessary - 100’s of uploaders on this site - I have never seen Dallis, Whachbag, Groomer, rmoor, Gweilo and the hundreds of others put this site at risk in such a blatent manner.
This site is too important to lose.. I have watched them fall. Usually because of this action.

Delf, the website owners themselves ask for donations to keep the site running - if anything this issue would supercede anime.chap if it were an issue in the first place. The uploader says they have cleared it with the people who run this website, and while they haven’t made an official statement, considering chap’s track record there’s a good case to consider it to be true.
I’m glad you are still around and contributing after so many years, but attacking another uploader just for daring to ask for contributions to upkeep releases of specific content that, as far as I’m aware, is not being released by anyone else in the pirating community overall, especially after clearing it with the owners, is ludicrous and only serves to ultimately drive away the uploader from the site, which is by definition going to cheapen the variety of content here and hurt its userbase. I would agree with making the spending of the donation funds more transparent, though seeing the expense of such releases it is hard to think how they could spend it anywhere else than to purchase those releases.
P.S. Hope your health gets better soon.

Profit, is money gained after expenses. You’re thinking revenue.
You are right that I’d be uncomfortable if anime.chap were profiting. But, anime.chap doesn’t make enough through donations to cover the full cost of all the uploads. He puts in his own money too.
This means he’s not profiting, as you continue to accuse. He’s not making money, he’s just making sure he can afford to keep uploading everything that you’ve said you appreciate.

Firstly, No, I am not attacking Anime.chap as a vendetta or any such path.
The thing to note, and this may seem a minor issue is that although the site owners ask for donations. They do NOT have any copyrighted materials. They host Torrents - which do NOT contain the data that is copyrighted, Added to this is the simple fact they also have a disclaimer. look below. The uploader has the copyrighted data……
Now the other factor, and this is a biggy, is the difference between theft (Taking with no intention to return) and Misappropriation. (causing harm, but NOT theft)
Asking for money for copyrighted content is theft - IF the site owners allow this - they are culpable too. Giving permission to animie.chap to promote his site, is a far cry from openly endorsing him to break the law, via copyright theft: ergo breaching their own disclaimer.
NOW, I have asked animie.chap if he could reduce his open requests for sponsorship to a simple comment such as
“HI all, If you like my uploads and would like more information and upcoming releases, new covers, etc. please visit me at ****.site”.
keeping ANY mention of sponsorship or remunerations OFF this site.
Does this cause a problem? The protection of a site we all love should far exceed any individuals need to gain funding. Regardless of our love of the content or respect for the uploader. This is a site for all, Even those, loving LitRPG, Gay Shifters, History or the Economist.
There is a modern saying, “offer a kid an inch they want to take a metre - because they know it’s 3 inches longer than a yard. “
I think the actions we are seeing, is an individual granted permission to promote his site - expanding that permission to put the WHOLE SITE at risk. Without considering the ramifications.
That I will not and cannot remain silent over.
It is a simple matter of “Protect this site” - Or all start considering how much your Audiobooks will cost in the future. When this site is shut down……

You can report trolling in the forum. However, Yes I said I will continue to complain “Bitterly” as long as I can - Until the site is shut down due to open Piracy - Or the uploader sticks to the permissions granted and Not put everones favourite site at risk by expanding on the owners goodwill.
This site does not promote Piracy, Copyright theft, Racism or Child pornography. If you feel a member is trying to stop someone breaching these rules constitutes trolling - then do as your conscious dictates…..

Contributions are NOT asking yo charge money. check your definitions. this constitutes harassment. If you care SO much…then Why keep harassing and complaining. It will drive poor chap away…spoil it for others..and also spoil things for us fans who DO help. They have shown that this site has many kind and considerate members and that is why this site is worth fighting for. Some don’t care about the site or others or the longevity of the torrents. They simply visit the site take files and then stop the torrent as soon as it downloads. Others are genuine and considerate of others..
And some can comprehend that a statment of..

Is not an accusation. The word CAN in both the rhetorical question and answer is clear to most.

Many of your points a genuine concerns. Yes I spend a small furtune on a seed box, and lots of audiobook purchases. 13 last month with the seed box that’s close to £180 + Internet cost etc. So an investment of £2000 a year. So yes I am aware of the costs. Many other uploaders face the same costs and we all do it willingly and for free.
That is why I do not want to see all that time and money lost due to a site closure because someone pushed the system too far.
We have a right to defend our costs in the site. To ensure we are not just wasting our time and money.

I get what your saying but in my country some big finish products go up to $30.00AU and higher. I do not have the money to spend on big finish audios even though i would love to support them. heck i even spent $50.00 on big finish audio dramas but i realised i didnt like some of them. I would be more then happy supporting big finish through a streaming service like disney plus.
