Warzone by Chris Chapman
At Warzone, competitors gather from across the galaxy to test the limits of their endurance and achieve their personal best. So, when the TARDIS materialises in the middle of a racetrack, the Doctor and his friends must literally run for their lives.
Conversion by Guy Adams
On the fringes of the galaxy, techno-pirates and research medics fight for the secrets of advanced extra-terrestrial technology. For the Doctor, however, a more personal battle awaits as he confronts his own guilt and the creatures that killed a friend: the Cybermen.

Love me some old-school Who! Thank you!

Nice one, do you have the alternate cover with the classic neon logo?

It seems the gaps between parts, the next episode preview, music and interviews are truncated…some to the point of making the following track/part overlap a second or two as if cross-fading was being used. It’s better than nothing, but it was obviously originally the individual mp3 files and was “joined” using (apparently based on the track tagging) audio-joiner.com. The title field contains the notation “Mix by audio-joiner.com”. While I appreciate the effort of whomever obtained the original files and shared them here, it would be better if they just uploaded/bittorrented the original files from BF and let the end downloader do what they want/need to them.

This was my very first attempt and I thought after checking it was ok. Sadly it isn’t I have therefore redone the upload and will send it up later on. Appreciate the comments spevman. I have addressed this now

vk2014, Thank you. I actually went to the “audio-joiner.com” site and uploaded a few mp3 files to see how the site worked. It appears you have to de-select the crossfading option for each file down the line before combining them. Apparently, crossfading is the default. I truly appreciate your efforts as I, myself, have previously contributed an upload or three here. As I noted, many I know prefer the original individual files. So, for future reference, if that’s easier for you to upload it might be a better upload format choice.
Craig57, I was just letting the uploader know what was going on since they obviously had the original individual mp3 file version of the story. This month’s Torchwood release had the same issues and was even missing the opening sequence and theme music. I did end up purchasing that, so thanks for your snark. ::eyeroll::

If people don’t point out errors, then how will the uploader know there is something wrong?

Hi are you going to post the unjoined (or joined properly) versions of this torrent and Daughter of the Gods? They are hard to listen to with overlapping?

Thanks for the effort, sincerely! Everyone makes mistakes, especially when trying something new. Luckily, the problem was noticed, and you’ve been humble in taking advice. I eagerly look forward to hearing this story, when you have the time to post it again.

There generally seems to be an issue with both this month’s Doctor Who and Torchwood with gaps between tracks, a fraction of silence at the end of and start of each track. I downloaded from Big Finish earlier today and used Audacity to painstakingly piece them together.

guys. use the freeware app “mp3DirectCut” for joining or editing\cutting your MP3’s. has autocrop to cut silences from the start\end of tracks.
