I can suspend belief for Zombies and Werewolves. I can push aside all the inconsistencies for the EMP stories. I can stand the Alien invasion situations. Even the mind getting sucked into a video game. But this is dumb and tries to be realistic. I can’t take this unbelievable circumstance.

Unbelievable? There has been analysis on this VERY SCENARIO at the top civilian and military intelligence levels for years. We still dread The Bear and the Dragon hooking up militarily against us (USA), NATO, etc.

Any invasion of the U.S. would be over in 15 minutes. Any troops trying to be delivered to the U.S. would be gone long before landing. Nuclear weapons wipe out Armadas very quickly. No way any large troop deployment would make it near the shores.
