This is the book I would do last, the rest of the series are prequels. IMO this one and the last 2/3rds of book didn’t impress. In both cases they just feel like the author is going through the motions where what’s in between is just a better execution.
This is a soap opera, like a dramatized version of a personal diary. Book 2 and most of 6 are well done and draw you in. It’s a rather predictable and lazy effort in completing the circle to this book, last 2/3rd of book 6.
Good narrator, even though his voice acting range for different characters is very subtle.
