Torrent is healthy and up - and quality is enough to listen too.
Here is my opinion on book itself:
Because of this book, I am very grateful to John Green for introducing me to David Levithan - although I didn’t like Will Grayson, Will Grayson too much (it’s still not so bad at all, but with comparison to other’s book by J.G. it was quite confusing and without deeper message - at least for me) but he promoted Levithan around his Nerdfighters as “standalone autor” too and that was all what was needed for me.
So this is first book by Levithan for me - but definitely not the last - this “sci-fi” had seized me very deeply. I was listening to it from morning to night (7 hours audiobook) in one long streak and was very moved by it’s intimate approach to all those feelings, it’s smart way how to introduce so many lives at once, how to guide us through so many important life lessons (about predispositions, about mental or physical illnesses, about prejudices and not at all lastly - about how many others - and we - feel, about that we are all same - and all quite different in same time).
In my view it is story mostly about loneliness and needs for deep connection with universe, but about hope and bravery to face world too.
In some ways it reminded me book by Richard Bach -
One .
Only one thing draw me back a bit - it was not easy for me to accept, that so messed up childhood can draw out so, so perfect and flawless character. Maybe I am a bit more sceptical about human nature, but this was only unbelievable thing for me in this otherwise excellent book
